IMM is a meme started at The Story Siren with some inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.
Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to only sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library.
Mailbox Monday can be found at: The Printed Page
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
This week I got five books. Roil by Trent Jamieson I got off of NetGalley for review. Steelhands I got through the Librarything Early Reviewer program.
I downloaded The Abandoned by Amanda Stevens; this is a free short story in the Graveyard Queen universe. I really loved the first book in this series The Restorer and can't wait to read the short story. I also bought The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne Valente because I have been wanting to read this soooo bad.
From the library I picked up another graphic novel that caught my eye, Gimoles: Secrets of the Seasons.
You can find more info on the books below. Hope you all have an excellent week of reading.

I had never heard of The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making, but the title alone makes me kinda want to read it! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one!

Thanks for the heads up! I just downloaded The Abandoned to my Kindle. I really liked The Restorer too. I had an ARC of The Girl Who... but couldn't get into the style of the book. I gave up on it about 50 pages in. I hope it works better for you.
ReplyDeleteMy mailboxes are here and here. Happy reading!
