In My Mailbox and Mailbox Monday - 3/5/12

IMM is a meme started at The Story Siren with some inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.

Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to only sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library.

Mailbox Monday can be found at: The Printed Page

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

I got a ton of books this week.  Most were from NetGalley.com and hence are for review.  You can watch the video below to hear more about them or click on the picture to go to Amazon.com for a synopsis.

  4. Hi Lindsay,

We do have a pretty awesome library system here. You can actually go and request/recommend books for the library to buy and then they will put you on the hold list for when the books our bought and come in. If they can't buy them they source them from another MN library.

A lot of times they check out the book on release day!

The libraries here in the Twin Cities get a ton of support/money from the people who use them as well. I have really enjoyed using it.

  5. You have a nice haul of books there! I can't wait to get my hands on Torn - just finished reading Switched. Sacrificial Magic sounds intriguing as well.
