Teaser Tuesday - 10/12

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week my teaser is from Bayou Moon (The Edge, Book 2) by Ilona Andrews.

Bayou Moon (The Edge, Book 2)

Here it is: "Cerise rode quietly, letting the horse pick the pace.  The swamp rolled by on both sides of the road: pale husks of dead tress rising from the bog water that was black like liquid tar." Location 3015-22

I love your recommendation of jennifer estep and faith hunter yellow rock. I read your reviews and bought them and very happy that I did!

Thanks for the recommendation of Stacia Kane's Unholy series :-) I've seen it around and just have too many other series I want to read first, but based on your recommendation I will bump it up on my wishlist! I also want to read Lucy Snyder's Shotgun Sorceress series and Linda Robertson's Persephone Alchmedi (sp?).
