IMM is a meme started at The Story Siren with some inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.
Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to only sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library.
Mailbox Monday can be found at: The Printed Page
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
I got 11 books. Four of these were for review. Of the ones I got for review I am most excited about The Fire King by Paul Crilley. I loved Rise of the Darklings, the first Invisible Order book and can't wait to read the second Invisble Order book: The Fire King.
Despite my commitment to reducing the number of books that come into my house...I stopped by the Borders Store Closing sale late in the week. I ended up picking up more Fables graphic novels and a few other books that I had been wanting but haven't been able to get my hands on cheaply. So the books I bought at Borders were: The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney, Bloodlands by Christine Cody, The Bookman by Lavie Tidhar, The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge, Wolves (Fables, Book 8) by Bill Willingham, and Sons of Empire (Fables, Book 9) by Bill Willingham.
You can check out the books below. Hope that you all got wonderful books and look forward to a great week of reading!

ReplyDeleteHi guys,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great comments! I was totally drawn in by the Iron Witch cover too :-) I am so happy to hear that some of you liked it.
Staci,
I love pretty covers, I know that it shouldn't really matter as long as the story is good. I can't help it though I love a pretty package too!
Our Borders store closed in April - I found some good buys then. I hope you enjoy all your new books.
