In My Mailbox and Mailbox Monday - 4/9/12

IMM is a meme started at The Story Siren with some inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.

Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to only sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library.

Mailbox Monday can be found at: The Printed Page

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

I got seven books this week.  You can see them below or watch the video below for more info.  Hope you all had a great week of reading and got some great books!

  1. Awesome IMM this week! I was wondering, have you read the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini? I am dying to read a great fantasy-type series and this one sounded like it would be good, just wondering if you'd gotten to it, since it sounds like a series you might be into!

You can check out my IMM video and post for this week at the link below-- Happy Reading! :)

  2. Nice Haul!

I see you like some full on fantasy novels. I would like to read more high fantasy except I have to have a splash of romance in them and it's hard to know a lot of the time from the blurb if they do or don't since it's usually only a subplot and possibly very minor at that. (Wow that was a long sentence). If you know of any good ones please do let me know on my IMM post :)

  3. Great haul Karissa!

I enjoyed the first Stuff of Legend so I'm interested to here what you think about the 3rd one. I'm also jealous that you got Bitterblue! I hope you enjoy it (and Graceling) when you read them.

  5. Hi Guys,

Thanks for all of the comments.

Lea I did read most of Paolini's INhertiance Cycle series. I loved the first book, thought the second book was okay, and really disliked the third book...so I never read the fourth and final book in the series. If you do a quick search on Paolini on my blog you should be able to read the full reviews.

I am going to try and read Graceling this week so hopefully I will love it as much as everyone else has!
